City was a champ during the shoot, she handled the cold just like it's no big deal! Loved being at Bast Brothers, they had the whole garden center decorated with wreaths and bulb lights. So beautiful! Have fun looking at those photos.

Happy Tuesday you all!

I couldn't wait any longer to show you this beautiful family! Our friends Romy and Steffen are new parents of the cutest little boy, called Yulius! His big bright blue eyes just melt my heart! I don't want to forget to mention the fourth person in those photos, her name is Enya, she is Romy's sister. She came all the way from Germany to visit her new nephew. I am so glad she got to join the photoshoot! Now she is a part of a lifetime memory. 

We took it slow during the shoot with the little one, he was hungry in between so he got fed. At the end of the session, Yulius was very alert and he looked around like he would absorb nature in full, so adorable! We all just had a great time! Thank you, Romy and Steffen, for choosing me and for your trust! You guys rocked the photoshoot for sure ;)

Hey and Happy Friday you all!

This cute family is not new to you, I had the privilege a couple times already to have them in front of my camera, and here they are again :) Rachael asked me a couple weeks ago to take THE PERFECT FAMILY PHOTOS for a canvas which she was going to hang in her living room. PUH I tell you I all of a sudden I felt pressure :D because you know how it is when you have kids, you NEVER know if they will cooperate or not... Well fast forward I took their family photos, and they turned out beyond amazing, everyone cooperated from its finest! Convince yourself!

Good morning my dear!

I've been anxiously waiting to have this post online! Paige is a very talented (unfortunately retired) photographer herself! When she approached me and asked to take some photos of her and her husband Ethan for their new home, I  tell you I was THRILLED! I knew both of them are very photogenic and on top of that, I knew they can show sweet emotions and just be themselves! Sure enough, it was exactly how I imagined it would be, they made it easy for me and I loved having them in front of my camera!

The moment I met him I immediately fell in love, and he gave me all the feels :) Megan and Steve are his parents, and you can tell by looking at the photos, how thankful, proud and in love they both are! I don't blame them! He has them wrapped around his little finger already!

We are finally back from our long trip to Germany and we are ready to get back on track! So here we are starting the weekend off with some photos for fathers day. This family has been our clients for a couple years now, we love seeing the kids growing up and on top of that we are more than happy to create some memories which last a lifetime! Hey you all, 

as promised I am posting our trip to Smithville in Galloway! If you have seen our last post, you will probably notice that I had Courtney and Darrin's engagement photo session there! Well, they were the ones who introduced us to this wonderful village! So we went there on May 18th, and it was May Fest that day. We went on rides and on the very old train, had yummy food and went on a paddle boat ride, which was nice to cool off! All in all it was a very nice day trip and we can't wait to go again!

Now I want to tell you a little bit more about the Historic Smithville, it started as a simple, one room, stagecoach stop. Over the last 60 years, it has blossomed into a wonderful memory-making way to spend a day or two! When entering any of the 60 shops you will feel the hometown, small business feel. You can wander along the cobblestone walkways and over footbridges to discover a village that seems as if it were frozen in time. The carefully manicured grounds and attention to detail make Historic Smithville a breath of fresh air and a place you will want to visit again and again.

Enjoy the photos and I hope you get a little impression of a well spent and wonderful day!

Those photos make me so happy, first bc it was a shoot in spring last year and I miss the warm weather and second because we are related to this beautiful Family, to be exact Regina is my (Anika) cousin! We basically grew up together and still, we are always enjoying ourselves when we see each other, which happens at least once a year! I (Anika) was told that this little girl right here is not smiling for other people unless it's her parents or her uncle! So with that in my head, I went to the photoshoot being nervous that she wouldn't cooperate as much as I would like to.
Then it was time to meet the Mathew Family, and boooom it made CLICK between sweet little Nora and me! She was smiling and she was actually searching for the camera!
Besides her Parents, she was the STAR 🌟!

Wow I am totally in love with this sweet family of 4! Sadie approached me to take their family pictures and I was thrilled to take them. Even though its challenging to take photos with small children they mastered it very well! Convince yourself and enjoy those pictures!

This sweet couple wanted to get their pictures in the city they met each other – Aschaffenburg, a sweet city in Germany. We have known them for quite a long time and we can assure you they are such a great couple to get along with.  From what we know that was their very first time together in front of the camera yet we were able to capture authentic emotions. You can tell their love to each other, mutual appreciation and harmony by just looking through the pictures. Enjoy as we do.

There is always a first time for everything and of course we try hard not to botch it. Especially if you take pictures of special occasions such as weddings, birthday parties or whatever, something you cant repeat, there is a lot of pressure on you to succeed or meet clients’ expectations. So here we go. On that last nice sunny Saturday we had the opportunity to take pictures of our beautiful clients and friends – the Ingalas, a family of seven. Yes, they are a family with 5 young children, energetic, funny and curios about everything in this world. The very last they care about are this crazy people jumping in front of them to get their attention. They probably have never seen such crazy acting adults, but it has paid off :). Thank you guys. We assume it took them at least one hour to get all dressed. One thing to mention, even the baby-twins toenails were painted. Enjoy the pictures.

A few weeks ago we had a great mother- daughter session with Rachael and her sweetie Lacy. They loved our work so we felt very appreciated when they asked us for their family and Lacys 1st year pictures. The first birthday is a momentous occasion in any child and parent’s life. We think that's the best compliment which you can get as a photographer. We headed to their favorite spot in New Jersey, a very cute little romantic city - Cape May. It was a fun night and we loved to see the love between them.

We have finally found some time to take family/ pregnancy pictures. Yes, our family will be growing by two feet very soon. Levi - our son - and we are more than exited to welcome our little princess in mid-October. Considering the origin, meaning and sound, we had a hard time picking the perfect name for her. There are just too many beautiful names in this world. Levis favorite name on our list for his sister is “Sarah” :). We are looking forward to share our decision with you in a couple weeks.

Tim is a co-worker of Andy. They met each other a couple years ago in Aschaffenburg/ Germany. A business trip brought Tim over to the States, which turned out as a good opportunity to get some nice portraits. After the shooting we went to the Brauhaus Schmitz in Philadelphia. It is a nice German restaurant right on South Street, one of Philadelphia's most famous streets. Food and beer there are just awesome. We can highly recommend this place. Have a save and happy Labor Day.
